Fall Fun

Last Saturday we went to Linvilla Orchard's Apple festival. We have gone in the past and it is always fun. The kids enjoy seeing all the animals and playing on the fun playground. We even went on a hayride this year.

My Three animals!!

They had this really cool playground. Full of Tractor trailers, trucks, monster trucks and even an airplane. Needless to say it was right up our alley!! Olivia is good for saying she wants to go on a pony ride and then getting up there and changing her mind. Not this year. No this year she started saying she was going on a pony ride before we got in the car! Meanwhile, I am thinking to myself yeah right, sure you will. Well my little angel proved me wrong once again, She did the pony ride and loved it!!!
Ethan also did the pony ride although being my adventurous child this was not his first ride.

Pa-Pa is very much a Porsche fan so he gave Ethan one of his magazines to look at, which he carried around all day with him. I was even told that I was not allowed to touch it! (grumble, grumble on my part.) Anyway we were getting ready for bed and I came back into the living room to this! There is no getting away from it, one way or another my son is going to be up to his elbows in grease. Either from a tractor or a car, and loving it all the way!! We have really noticed him start to problem solve. Whether it is getting his bike unstuck from the curve or lining up all of his tractors and cars. He loves to play with his tools and is very good with a screw driver. He lines it up the the top of the screw and puts it in place. He is really fun to watch and admire.

Olivia is always singing and dancing whether it is around the house or in the car. Some of you may have seen her cutting a rug at Uncle Pat's wedding. She loves to dance. So we asked her if she was interested in taking Ballet classes. No surprise, she said yes. She has had two classes and seems to love it. The cool part, at least Daddy and I think so, is that my Ballet teacher (of 14years) is still teaching and that is who Olivia is taking lessons with.

We went to Linvilla for the first time, last year. It was really cool. I think we're going to go again this year! Love the picture of Ethan reading his car magazine. It's funny how they are just drawn to certain things. And Olivia is getting to be such a big girl. Dance classes....wow...and with the same teacher you had!
